Medication Refills

Many patients take various medications on a daily basis. Others take medications on an as-needed basis but still with some regularity. In order to monitor these medications and your response to them, it is necessary, in many cases, to perform routine examinations or lab tests to ensure that there are no harmful effects from the medications that are supposed to help keep you healthy.

We will make every attempt to prescribe a quantity of those chronic medications sufficient to last you until time for your next routine appointment. This will prevent the need to call the office for more medicine and also will serve to remind you of the need for a return visit.

We will also make every attempt to limit the number of times you have to return to the office for those rechecks. So, if you are being seen for an acute problem and it is getting to be close to the time for a routine medication refill, please remind us so that we can take care of that refill at that acute visit.
